The most rustic and informative Ches. Bay experience available. Perfect for Va. residents as well as Intl. travlers. Lovely venue for corporate parties and weddings. I look forward to attending some events there next year. A great place for kids to learn about our water heritage , hands on.

The museum was about the history of men and ships that spent their working life on the Chesapeake...it was very informative and the ladies that worked there were nice
Good boats
As we walked into the Museum, we were lectured by an employee that we HAD to stay in the gift shop unless we paid $5 to see the rest of the Museum. We paid the $5 per person and saw the whole Museum in under 10 minutes. I would recommend skipping the Watermen's Museum unless you have a strong interest in seeing just a few items Watermen used years ago.
